Missionary Benedictine Sisters live at Holy Trinity Convent in Graceville, Minnesota, and continue the tradition of our fifty-plus years of quality, Christ-centered rural health care. It all began in 1945 when the Missionary Benedictine Sisters purchased a small 40-bed hospital on the beautiful Lake Toqua in West-central Minnesota.

Our health care ministry in the Graceville area has greatly expanded. It is known as Graceville Health Center which includes Holy Trinity Hospital, and Grace Home (nursing home). In addition, three area clinics and Home Health are operated by Graceville Health Center. TheSr. Mary Joseph and co-worker hospital and clinics invite specialists to the area. Our health care facilities have won recognition and a reputation for quality care and concern for others. Holy Trinity Hospital is the only Catholic hospital in the New Ulm Diocese.

Serving in rural Graceville, Minnesota, holds a particular challenge as it is a medically deprived area. Because of our immediate presence and quality of care, lives have been spared and important medical treatment given.
